Kirazli’s Cherry Festival celebrates not only the cherry season and harvest (November-December) but all that the town has to offer. The village of Kirazli comes alive during the Cherry season with music and dance, a colourful organic market and the election of Miss Cherry, with a parade by her admiring followers.

The event takes place in an ancient walled town, one of the oldest in the area. Kirazli lies on the rising slopes of Kuşadasi, the ideal ground for the thousands of cherry trees which lend the town its fruity renown.

With fringe events held in the weeks running up to the main celebration day and 'pick your own' cherries available from mid-June until July, there is plenty for all visitors to enjoy. A visit to Kirazli, is an authentic country experience, so come and join the many visitors who take the opportunity to come and pick their own cherries and be welcomed by this friendly town.
